I have a strange issue that I've noticed for the last few months. Every
system on our network isn't receiving updates. About once a week, they
get prompted to install a Windows Defender update, but no security
patches, updates, etc. I believe this is more of a firewall issue
somewhere down the line, but I don't get any failures. It reports that
there are no updates available. I also DO NOT use a WSUS server. This
has affected each one of my systems. The last major update install was
on June 16th and to my knowlege, nothing in the environment has changed.
Has anyone else seen this or know what URL that Windows Update uses to
check? If I could test the URL, I could see if it was being blocked. My
firewall is running IPFire 2.14 Update 76, and I have Update Accelerator
enabled so that when updates are downloaded, they are downloaded from...
