We have a server 2008 machine set up running the RRAS role, acting as a PPTP VPN endpoint.
The machine is multihomed -
Interface #1 has public IP on it, and this network has a gateway set up as the default route.
Interface #2 has an IP on our local subnet.
This all works fine when people connect and just use the 'class based network addition' option - They get an IP from our DHCP server, and can access all resources on our local subnet.
However - when people connect and send all traffic through the tunnel, the traffic to our local resources is fine, but traffic from them to the internet gets lost.
If I add a static route to the internet via the firewall on our LAN, the VPN server starts using that as its route out too, breaking other services as traffic comes in on the WAN port and makes its way back out to the internet via the...
