Import Server "Snapshot" into Microsoft Azure

Hello,

We are trying to make Azure our primary server here at our business but are having some trouble with the transition from RackSpace.

What I've assumed the best plan of action would be is to take a "snapshot" of our server and somehow upload/import it into Azure (if that import is even possible). We have been trying at this for a while now and have made minimal progress.

What do you all think the best plan of action is?

Anyone out there who has successful made this transition themselves?
