I have windows server 2008r2 backups I rotate between drives 3 of them on a weekly basis.
My problem is when I setup the schedule to backup to disk 1 for a week then when I switch to disk 2 the next week I have to recreate the backup schedule because it doesnt recognize the drive?
The usb drives connect okay no problems I have even gone into each drive and given them the same name and drive letter but still if I program the backup schedule with the drive then come next week to change out the drive I have to recreate the backup schedule??
How can I fix this ???
PLEASE DONT TELL ME TO SWITCH TO NAS IVE TRIED
