Changing the administrator username

Hello,

Quick question.

We are going to be changing our network password in the coming weeks for security purposes.

Before we can do this, we need to have an audit of services across the network that use this account.  This may take a few weeks, so as a stop gap I am going to change the administrator username to something else.

I'm just checking, changing the username won't affect services or have other knock on affects like changing the password would.  I'm guessing that since Windows see's a username as a SID, and the SID won't change even if we change the username, then we should be fine?

Have I got this right...?
