I am in the process of upgrading my primary site server from SCCM 2012 to R2 in order to image Win 8.1 clients. While running the prerequisites checker, there is an error message stating it found a site server that cannot be upgraded. We previously had SCCM 2007 installed but all of the server used in that installation no longer exist. I have checked the system management container in active directory and removed all objects associated with the previous installation but to no avail it is still giving an error. Is there any other place I need to look in order to remove all vestiges of the old server?
