I need some advice and/or answers to my questions.
I am in charge of a network with 1 main site and 2 remote locations all on the same domain across three domain controllers. I have a EMC VNXe NAS system where all files are stored. DFS works great at the main site, but when pulling down files from a remote site, it's very slow.
I'm exploring the idea of setting up a small server at each remote site and downloading the required shared files and syncing these servers with DFSR. To my knowledge, there is no easy way to do this with server 2012 + VNXe.
What is the best way to deliver files to a remote site over VPN without the lag of downloading them on a slow connection?
