Hi folks, so in my home lab I have a domain. On one of my drives (The Videos Drive) I have some strange permission issues.
There is a security group called "House" - this group has full and unrestricted access to everything in this drive. Unfortunately, it doesn't. There is one user "Bryn" who has no access to 3/10ths of 1/3rd of bugger all. This account is the "main" admin account - it's also a member the administrators group, domain admins, enterprise admins bla bla. There are no explicit deny entries set. All other users can access the share.
To be clear, the permissions are security permissions, not share permissions. Share permissions are Everyone:F - but that's not relevant as "Bryn" can't even access the drive from the server console. If I explicitly add "Bryn" to the permissions using a different account then "Bryn" can read it,...
