This server will be the new AD and domain controller. The current is Server 2000. The new guy is 2012 R2. We really aren't wanting to keep anything except the user accounts.
From what I've been reading it isn't too bad to do this from Server 2003 and up.
Has anyone done this before? If so, is it worth it to try to "export" the user accounts to the new server or just start all from scratch?
There aren't any roaming profiles in place, or "that" many groups and polices.
It would be nice to not have to manually enter 200+ users - even if they lost their passwords.
I'm not opposed to the manual entry, completely - just trying to avoid necessary headaches and/or tedious work.
