Ok here is the problem, we are trying to move our user’sdata from one server to another and we are doing so by changing the documentslocation.When we change the locationfrom the old server to the new server the process begins but the transfer rateis anywhere from 0-600Bps. Now when wejust do a copy/paste from the new server on to the client desktop the transfer rateis about 3-5Mbps
We can get on a new machine that has not had any folder redirectionand set the location as the old server location and it takes about 20 secondsfor it to redirect.And we can also redirecta brand new system that has had no redirection configured directed to the new serverand it takes about 20 seconds to do.Soseems like the problem is this, when there is an existing redirect and wechange it to a new data location on another server.
