Some dfs groups in indeterminate state

At first i thought it could be because dirty shutdown event 2213 for server 2012, but then i realized its only for certain replication groups and they are in the same volume. If it was dirty shutdown then all groups would be affected and i would see event 2213 in dfsr logs.I recreated the replication groups but get the same error. I dont know what else could cause this.any help is appreciated.
