I am new to the Windows Server world and have been getting used to it in a test environment. I wanted a way to manage all my backups from the server and the way that I came across to do it was Windows Server Essentials Experience. I would just like to note that I am running 2012 Standard and the Essentials is simply a role that was installed. I am not running Server 2012 Essentials.
I like the dashboard interface that the essentials come with an the ease of use it provides for both IT and the users. So I connected three computers with the connection wizard (mydc/connect) and allowed the wizard to migrate the local account to a domain account for me. All was good until I decided I had too much hardware for the server I was running and decided to downgrade.
