I have tried several different approaches to this issue without much success as of yet.
I need to block all PC's at location A from accessing shared folders located on server in location B. I cannot block all IP traffic as the server is the DC and DNS server. I would like to only make it so users cannot access the shared folders.
For a little more background, we use a RDS environment. These users should have access to these shares but only from our terminal servers. I have looked at different GPO's to prevent mapping these shared drives, but a savvy user could still browse to the server from \\10.1.1.5.
Any help is appreciated.
