I've been configuring a replacement server for our Graphics department. When I compare the two server's settings in the computer management screens, one is showing the "LAYOUT" as Simple, while the other shows it as Partition. What does the Layout column define? I've tried to google this but all I'm coming up with is dynamic disks, and all my drives are Basic. Both servers show Basic in the "TYPE" column so I'm a little confused. If anyone can shed some light on what this means, I would appreciate it! Thanks!
