I've been having difficulties pushing out Printer Drivers using GPP and switched to Group Policy Preferences. The network I'm working on groups computers into OU's rather then users so I'm trying to push to computers rather then users. I have no problems creating the Group Policy object and linking it to the correct OU but when I try to create a new "Shared Printer" I only have "Local" and "TCP/IP" as options under Computer Configuration, but under User Configuration I have "Local", Shared Printer" and "TCP/IP" as options. I'm trying to find documentation on TechNet to figure out if I'm missing something or if "Shared Pinter" is only supported through User Configuration. Can anyone lend some help on this issue?
