Right now I have 4 files servers, all running Windows 2003 R2 and I need to consolidate them into a single Windows 2012 R2 file server. This server will have a 1.5Tb data storage partition that will house everything.
I have no issues with moving the data and re-creating the shares, this is pretty straight forward. But is there any easy way to change all my AD user accounts to point to the new user's home folders? I have around 3000 users spread out among a fair number of OUs, so manually changing every account is simply not an option.
