Hello Spicecommunity!
I want to monitor the cpu utilization on two windows server 2003 servers and get an email notification from them when the cpu utilization is high.
If i only use CPU time and set the treshold to lets say 90% i will get an email everytime the CPU peaks for one reason or another, and i am not interested in that. I want to get an email when the CPU load is high over time, for example when the cpu load is high for a couple of minutes.
I figured that if i couple the CPU Time parameter with the CPU queue lenght parameter i will get a more reliable notification about the current load.
Am i on the right track or is there a better way to monitor and notify when the cpu load is high?
The servers run as VM:s
