I'm an experienced IT professional with 8yrs experience but without any certifications. atm Im an IT analyst (1st, 2nd and 3rd line support) and I'm really interested in moving away from this role and into networking. Do you think the MCSA Windows server 2012 certification would be a good certification to have? Is it worth it?
I'm a little stumped on how to move away from the analyst role and move into more of a specialist area.
Currently I am reading some win server 2012 eBooks which cover the below Microsoft exams.
70-410
70-411
70-412
I'm also in the process of setting up a virtual environment with win server 2012 to get more hands on experience and also stop me from mucking around at work and breaking something lol.
Any suggestions on how I can make a fresh start and move onto bigger and better roles?
