I'm still pretty new with any and all server roles and management thereof, and I've heard from various other professionals and vendors of what NOT to have installed along side another role... for security reasons.
What I was hoping to do here, was get a list of Roles and services, that are okay to be installed together, without jeopardizing security of that server.
For instance, I had been told IIS shouldn't be installed on an Active Directory, or DNS Controller.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated, as I have a 2012 server that I've been setting up, and I'm concerned about what I can and can't put on it.
