Hi.
I am planning on getting LabTech to support my customers computer. around 100 of them right now but will increase soon.
But I need a server to run LabTech on. So I have been looking at some options on what to do.
1. My own server in the office. I work mostly from home so i could put a server there and just go with it. Problem is that I have a girlfriend with perfect hearing and she already complains about my little synology that it is too loud. So having it at home is a no.
2. Pay for a virtual server.
3. Pay for a dedicated server.
4. Co-location for my own server in a server hall.
Does anyone have any tips on what might be the better solution. I don't really have that much experience with having servers since I only have my synology for back up of my computer and none of my clients has any servers. So I don't know what would be the simplest solution for me.
