We are connected in a domain network with internet connection running windows server 2008 r2 with Windows 7 and windows 8 clients. Throughout this week, internet connections seems to be dropping. clients needs to run the ipconfig flushdns, release and renew commands to be able to to access internet connectivity.

The network connectivity failed totally this morning, with this there internet service is down as a result.

The Network and Sharing Center of the DC shows 'unidentified network' instead of the domain name and Network X.

Running ipconfig flushdns, release and renew does not restore the network connection.

Ran gpedit and subsequently gpupdate /force does not rstore the network connection.

completed :netsh int ip reset and rebooted he DC does notrestore the connection.

The DC is a Hyper-v virtual server. It has the DNS, DC, AD,and DHCP server roles.

Any suggestion to resolve this is appreciated.
