We recently setup an RDS for a customer and we created a gpo that hides these functions (Shutdown and Restart) unfortunately for some reason the customer's existing DC is kinda messed up, so when you create and apply a gp, it doesn't take effect for some reason.
Run gpresult command and it shows 'The user does not have RSoP data'
I know we may need to fix this but as a temporary solution due to time constraints I'm looking for a quick solution so as users will not accidentally shutdown or restart the server.
I'm looking into hiding shutdown restart through registry but most of the registry tweak is for Windows 10.
Any suggestions?
