Windows Server 2012 LACP slows connections

I have a 1U server, Xeon, 8 gigs RAM, SSD, 4 gigabit NICs, running Windows Server 2012, with VOIP and accounting server softwares installed.

Over the weekend, I put the four NICs in two teams via Server Manager NIC teaming dialog, both teams using LACP and the Netgear switch set for the same.

Since then, the accounting software loads 3-4x as slow as normal. I hate it. It acts more like it's connecting over a slow VPN connection instead of over our gigabit network.

I will most likely remove the LACP teams, as the server is a SPOF anyway considering it has one drive, one power supply, and is not virtualized, so the LACP teams are sorta irrelevant as far as redundancy. I was hoping to get a bit better responsiveness from our accounting software since there are now two NICs serving it, allowing more bandwidth for our 20 workstations to use.

But something went south, so I guess I'll remove the LACP and give one NIC each, or two NICs that aren't teamed via LACP, to the accounting software.

Any ideas or comments of what I might be missing?
