Server 2012 R2, Exchange 2013
The Exchange server is the only exchange server and is also the secondary AD DC and DNS server.
Everything on the domain seems to work correctly with the exception of Exchange, about 1% of email address cannot be emailed. It is limited to specific external domains. As an example we have been unable to email a domain 'inspiregd.co.uk' - the email address is correct and is reachable via gmail.
Upon checking the queue I see:
451 4.4.0 DNS Query failed. The error was: DNS query failed with error InfoNoRecords
Upon running NSLOOKUP is see:
C:\Users\Administrator.MYDOMAIN>nslookup
Default Server: localhost
Address: 127.0.0.1
> inspiregd.co.uk
Server: localhost
Address: 127.0.0.1
Name: inspiregd.co.uk
But the DNS does not resolve to an IP address.
IPCONFIG:
IPv4 Primary DNS: 127.0.0.1
Secondary DNS: Primary DNS Server
IPv6 is automatic (!?)
