Server 2012 Hyper-V mix LAN & WAN

I just want to confirm my thoughts on this. Going to setup a new machine with Server 2012, that Server will accessible through the LAN. I want to install SBS2011 as a virual machine in Hyper-V on the 2012 Server and have the SBS2011 connect to a new WAN port on my router, SBS2011 would be configured with one of our public IP's. As long as NIC 1 is connected to the LAN and NIC 2 is connected to the WAN and Server uses NIC 1 and SBS uses NIC 2 this should work wouldn't it? SBS would be for an outside company, we already have Exchange on our LAN. I just want an easy way to administer the SBS machine while I'm on the LAN. I could remote to the 2012 box and open Hyper-V manager to connect with the SBS machine.

Thanks

Craig
