Migrating Small Business Server 2003 to Windows Server 2012 R2 - Who has done it

First of all, I am about to do my first ever server migration, so this is new to me. With proper instructions, I know I can do it.

We have a Small Business Server 2003 SP2 that we will be migrating to a new server that will have Windows Server 2012 R2 on it. Every vendor I got quotes from said this was possible, especially since we did not use exchange.

This server is our primary Domain Controller, DNS, DHCP, file server. It does nothing else special.

This is a starting point but don't know if I need to do all of this.

I want to hear from SpiceHeads that have migrated from SBS 2003 to a new 2012 R2 server. What was your checklist like? Any best practices?
