Will this work? I have a server that's not joined to my domain that several third party vendors need to RDP into. I installed the RDS host role on that workgroup server and have configured it to point to our license server. The issue is the licensing diagnosis. I have to apply domain admin credentials (Which I assume I had to do) to connect to the license server. It connects and it shows me the correct number of RDS licenses. If I exit out the RDP configuration tool and reopen, I have to again supply domain admin credentials in order to connect to the license server. So can this scenario work or should I joined the server to the domain?
