We have setup the user's home directory in AD.
Under profiles \ Home Folder connect to.
Set as H: Mapping to \\server\files\users\%username%
It keeps mapping to \\server\files -- The root share.
If I make users a share so its \\server\user\%username% then I get mapped to \\server\user
This is a windows 2012 domain with XP and 7 (64 bit) clients.
Happens on XP or 7.
Is there a setting in AD to map the drive to the users folder only?
I don't want to make shares for each and would like to avoid a login script for the Home Drive.
I know I can map via group policy but can I set the Home Drive too?
