Hi all,
I'm wondering if someone could point me in the right direction, I'm fairly new stiff to using performance counters etc so I'm not too sure where to look, and my google-fu is failing me.
I'd like to use Hyper-V replica with a few servers and replicate them over the internet, this part I'm fine with, what I'd like to find out though is if there's a way to scope the server first to find out what kind of replication traffic to expect. I understand that your HRL files track all the writes to a VHD, then they're compressed and sent across your connection.
How do I find out what the average size of the writes to a VHD will be over a day or so? I've looked at disk writes/sec and so, but I'm not sure how to translate this information into something useful. I'd like this info so that I can plan ahead in terms of bandwidth etc.
