Add existing DFS namespace to new replication group

Is it possible to add existing DFS namespaces to a new replication group? I created a handful of DFS namespaces over the last few years. Since we were only a single site, there was never a need to replicate them. We are now two sites and I need to replicate them to a server in site 2. Can I do this without having to delete the namespace?

We are running Win2008 R2 Std in the remote site and Win 2012 Std in the hub/datacenter.
