Hi everyone,
First time I've had this kind of request. A user in our company has to make a change in an application which requires the date to be in the previous year (I believe it needs to be the year of the record they are changing in this application). So the user has set the date to December 30th 2013 but it changes immediately back to todays current date & time.
What are my options here? This is a Windows Server 2008 server they are working on, dedicated mostly to their job function, and so it gets its time from the domain controller like the other servers in our domain.
I was thinking of removing it from the domain and then making the change then re-joining it, but seems like a lot of work with possible problems for such a simple task. There must be a much more efficient way of doing this, just something that I'm not aware of. Rarely have to deal with time issues at all.
Your help would be appreciated. Thanks a ton! :-)
