Effect of changing File Permissions on Server 2012 Deduplication?

I am interested in moving our file servers to Server 2012 to make sure of the deduplication feature. Testing shows that we can make about about 40% of space saving which is nice!

However my question is, if I change the permissions for a lot of the files and folders on the volume, will that mess up the deduplication and suddenly make data usage grow? I know that in the past changing the file permissions has affected our volume shadow copies as it fills the shadow copy storage with the same files that has different file permissions. So is this gonna cause problems for deduplication, or are the dacls and sacls stored at seperate locations on ntfs?
