Howdy, all. Just completed a new install of Hyper-V 2012 on a new server. All updates are in place, necessary services (Multipath IO, Remote Management, Hyper-V Role, etc) all installed and updated.
When I try to bring the machine under management on my SCVMM server I receive a "Critical Alert" in the Status report under 'Properties.' (see pic).
When I select SCVMM's "Fix the Problems" button it proceeds to 29 percent progress then crashes SCVMM, every time.
I've verified that Hyper-V services are properly installed, applied all current updates and patches, etc, and scoured the web for a plain-english explanation of what I'm doing wrong, but as usual when things get desperate I'm turning to Spiceheads.
